How Maison Renoir collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.
1. Who is responsible
MAISON RENOIR LLC, trading as Maison Renoir, is responsible for personal information handled for this store and acts as controller where applicable. Contact us at hello@maisonrenoir.ma or at 8206 Louisiana Blvd NE, Ste A #10527, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87113, United States.
2. Information we collect
- Identity and contact information: name, email, telephone number, billing and delivery addresses.
- Order and account information: products, order value, currency, account details, delivery events, returns, refunds and support correspondence.
- Payment information: payment method, status, provider reference, limited card details where supplied and fraud-risk results. We do not store full card numbers or security codes.
- Technical information: IP address, browser, device, timestamps, security logs, cookies, local-storage choices and store interactions.
- Marketing information: subscription, consent and unsubscribe records.
3. Why we use information
We use information to perform a purchase contract, operate carts and accounts, take payment, deliver orders, process returns and provide support; to meet tax, accounting, sanctions, fraud-prevention and consumer-law duties; for legitimate interests in security, service improvement and dispute management; and with consent for optional marketing or non-essential technologies where required.
4. Who receives information
Information is shared only as reasonably necessary with hosting and store technology providers, WooCommerce, the payment method selected at checkout, banks and fraud-prevention services, order-processing and delivery service providers, email providers, security and backup providers, professional advisers, and public authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information. In the storefront configuration described by this policy, we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. The payment provider actually used for an order is identified at checkout; it receives only the information needed to authorise, secure, refund and document that transaction.
5. International processing
We serve customers internationally and may use service providers outside your country. Where applicable law requires it, we use an adequacy decision, approved contractual safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism.
6. Retention
- Order, payment, refund, tax and accounting records: normally six years after the transaction.
- Account information: while active and normally up to two years after closure, except where part of an order record.
- Customer-care messages: normally up to two years after the matter closes.
- Security and technical logs: normally up to 12 months unless an incident requires longer.
- Marketing details: until unsubscribe or no longer needed, with a minimal suppression record retained to respect opt-outs.
Information may be kept longer where required for law, fraud review, chargebacks or legal claims.
7. Cookies and marketing
Essential technologies support the cart, checkout, login, security and privacy choices. Optional technologies are used only as explained in our Cookie Policy and with consent where required. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe method.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive eligible information in portable form and withdraw consent. You may object to direct marketing at any time. Rights may be limited by exemptions or legal retention duties. Email us to submit a request; we may need to verify your identity.
9. Security and children
We use reasonable access controls, updates, backups and encrypted HTTPS connections. When card payments are enabled, card-entry fields are supplied by the selected payment provider; Maison Renoir does not receive or store full card numbers or card security codes. No online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not send passwords, full card details or identity documents through ordinary email. The store is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from a child who cannot lawfully provide it.
10. Changes and complaints
We may update this policy when our services or legal duties change. You may contact us first to resolve a concern or complain to the privacy or consumer-protection authority where you live.
